LVIA is a community non-profit organization, formed for the purpose of encouraging individual and family activities in the community based environment of rural Leona Valley.  The Community Building owned and operated by LVIA has become the "home base" for many other community organizations and recurring community activities.  Some of these activities include monthly Gymkhana Playday Events, Community Queens, Gymkhana Queens, the annual Cherry Parade, the annual Halloween Carnival and Caravan, the annual Holiday Home Tour, and many more.  The annual Membership Breakfast is the first Saturday in April, open to all residents of Leona Valley and surrounding communities.  The breakfast is free to members, new and renewing.  Non-members can pay a nominal price at the door.

LVIA is the publisher of the monthly Cherry Chapters, a publication sent to each home on the rural routes of Leona Valley.  This newsletter covers information about community, as well as other items of general interest to members of the community.

LVIA has no paid employees, depending entirely on volunteers for their activities and ongoing operations.  The monthly LVIA meeting is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the LVIA Community Building located at 8367 Elizabeth Lake Rd., Leona Valley.  The LVIA Community Building is available to be booked for other community and private activities, as well.  For building availability information, contact Anne Breight at 661-270-9015.
