EVEN MORE POWER LINES FOR LEONA VALLEY?
We have received notice for the potential of additional power lines traversing Leona Valley in the Edison Transmission Project. According to an Edison official,
"Segment 5, which crosses Godde Hill Rd.is slated to be built in an existing right of way where there are currently two- 220 kV lines. The two - 220 lines will be removed and one - 500 kV line will replace them. Subsequently you will have two - 500 kV lines parallel to each other (TRTP Segment 2 and Segment 5) instead of two - 220 lines." Information on this new segment here.
