For those who are interested in feeding the birds, black sunflower seeds (for birds) sold at the local pet store provide a good source of protein. They will also eat caramel coated horse/goat food, chicken scratch and turkey crumble feed.   Please take photes of the Ticolor Black Birds in your yards and Email your photos to AliceWollman@roadrunner.com.  More about Leona Valley Wild Life Leona Valley Wildlife
